With years of experience supplying the armed forces, our Military GPU is designed to survive in the harshest of conditions and meets onerous conditions to ensure operation across the world.

Our Military GPU version of the Jet-Power GPU, provides power from 30-60kVA, together with the option of simultaneous or non-simultaneous 28Vdc operation. The Military GPU or ‘MIL-Power’ unit was specifically designed in conjunction with leading militaries to provide a compact solution that benefits from low speed running to provide the lowest fuel consumption, jet fuel compatibility, air transport suitability, optimum dimensions together with the lowest weight, low sound level and an innovative EMC concept. Our innovative design solution and manufacturing capabilities enable Hitzinger to meet the client’s exact demands, without compromise.

Harshest operating conditions
Thanks to a generous conceptual specification and an ingenious design, the MIL POWER delivers the specified power reliably in arduous environmental conditions, without limitation, anytime.

Optimised economy
With the engine speed lowered and when used in conjunction with an extremely efficient 400 Hz alternator, the MIL POWER generation manages to achieve greater economy, particularly as a result of reduced fuel consumption. This in turn leads to lower maintenance costs with extremely low noise emissions.
Thanks to the high efficiency of the alternator, independent of the load curve, aircraft can be supplied as economically as possible even under partial load.

Maximum serviceability
The modular arrangement of the switchgear simplifies all service work. A large-size soundproofing enclosure provides optimum access for servicing and maintenance.

Simplified user operation
The touchpanel of the control station offers intuitive user navigation. Easy to read even in strong sunlight, it is also dust- and water-tight and suitable for use in the most adverse conditions. The resistive touchscreen is straightforward to use even when gloves are worn. For the rare occasion that the MIL POWER is out of use, a protective flap gives the touchscreen display optimum shelter against wind and weather.
